Clean Your Mind

There’s an infinite number of things you can focus on.

It’s important to keep a “clean mind” where everything is ignored except for your most important tasks.

This means you need to say “No” often. The following are things that might be helpful to avoid:

  • People who distract you
  • Making long term obligations when unnecessary
  • Purchasing posessions that are time consuming to manage unless you can easily hire someone to manage them
  • Complex and indefinite plans (things need to be kept simple)
  • Agreements with unclear upfront expectations

Keeping a clean mind helps you stay agile and reduce stress, so I highly recommend it.
